Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Holt in London on the 19th of November 1972. She was the daughter of Chinese and French parents. Toronto Canada has been home for her since the age of five. She began as a Paris catwalk model before opting to become an actress. Her film debut was as Annuka In Black Robe (1991). In the movie, her character was selected for nomination for the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). Rapa Nui Rise In Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas, Dance with the Murderer and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force were the next films. In addition, she made guests appearances in Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension as well as Poltergeist The Uncanny Force. John Woo's The Thief featured her in 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both are available as DVDVHS. Following a string of small roles in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first bigger role as the main character. Holt started her career in minor guest roles as well as series roles. In 2013, she took on the lead role of Hostages and was cast as a character supporting the show Netflix's House of Cards. Holt starred as Julie Han in the US remake of The Returned in 2015 and was cast as the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
